Cross Country is in full swing with the new venue of Butser Hill causing a few runners to seriously question their sanity and the HRRL fixtures at Gosport Half and Hayling 10 with PBs galore.
October and Autumn has arrived. Just the one official race this month, the XC at Bournemouth, and as
it was the first XC Race of the season there was a massive turn out of runners which pushed the Harriers
down the pecking order. November sees the XC season continue at a new venue: Queen Elizabeth
Country Park near Petersfield and the two HRRL at Gosport and Hayling which are now both full. ….
Results of the first winter Hanicap race for 2017
September and road running has started in earnest with the first rounds of the Hampshire Road Race League including our own Overton 5. First year I’ve ever run it and can say it was an excellent event so thanks to all the organisers and all those marshals and helpers on the day. Loads of reports this month including a debutant Harrier’s report on the Overton 5. There’s also news of the Harriers’ Loyalty Reward Scheme if you compete for the club.

The Harriers annual Christmas lunch will take place after the Cyclist’s Race on Sunday 17th December, at Test Valley Golf Club at 1:00pm for 1:30pm.
