We know that joining a new club can be daunting, but every member was new to the club at one point. New Members are always welcome at the club and our training times and sessions can be found on the club training pages.
Depending on whether you are new to running, an experienced runner or somewhere in between then some sessions maybe better suited than others. Generally Thursday sessions have the biggest attendance with a variety of pace groups so that’s usually the best place to start and meet us, plus the bar is open after the session so you can see the social side as well as the lycra side of the club.
All new members are welcome to come and train with us free of charge for a few weeks to see if you enjoy running with us, if you do want to join then its only £10 every three months by standing order for a senior, or a family membership is £20 every three months by standing order. Junior fees are £20 for a year (September – August).
As a member of the Harriers you also need to join the Overton Recreation Centre (ORC), as we use their facilities. The form membership form is attached below and needs to be completed and returned along with your Harriers membership form. The cost of ORC membership is £24 a year and entitles you entry into their monthly draw where cash prizes range from £25 to £1000 month. If you want to understand more about what the ORC do then see their website here.
The club meets at the Overton Recreational Centre (ORC) for all Monday, Thursday and Sunday training sessions, its address is – The Pavilion, Bridge Street, Overton, Hampshire, RG25 3HD
If you do come down and want to join there here are the membership forms, the easiest way to pay is by standing order on a quarterly basis, the form for this is also below
